The Winter Dragon in the series of four seasonal dragons. This one was done for my oldest sister, Eileen. I don't think Eileen cares much for winter, but it seemed appropriate giving her the latest time of day with the end of the year given she was the first of us to come to be ^^ Eileen is air-elemented, dramatic, and extremely talented with music. I tried to capture that with lots of feathers and a strong light/dark contrast. Maybe she's singing to the full moon in lieu of a clarinet, Eileen's favored instrument
Colored pencils, and another scan of a poor copy. This one suffered the most in loss of details...all those light body feather are washed out. Boooo..
froozin amazing! lol the dragon looks almost fuzzy...or feathery? and the sky...holy crap i can never get night skies to work for me! i want to draw like this sooo badly! xD
